Hello everyone, we experienced an outage on July 18th and 19th, making the ePortfolio and Virtual Library websites unavailable. This began around 10:20 PM on Saturday July 18th and continued until the morning of Monday July 20th.
As of early afternoon July 20th, all of our websites except the support centre and help knowledgebase are working again. We expect the help knowledge base will be back up later this week. Please contact us if you run into any issues or have any questions and thank you for your patience.
On Tuesday July 28th, de Souza Institute will be launching an updated eLearning Centre to better serve you! The major new features are:
Ever lost a forum post after spending several minutes typing it in? This new feature will auto-save drafts of forum posts and assignments, allowing you to start typing a forum post or assignment, navigate away or close the window by accident, and your draft will still be saved.
A new, simplified text editor, to make writing and editing your forum posts easier.
On Sunday March 29th, just before 10 am the hardware running the de Souza websites suffered a catastrophic failure. Due to this our websites have been down since. Our main websites are back up and everything should now be accessible.
If you run into any issues or problems, please let us know, we will continue working behind the scenes to make sure everything is working correctly for you.
Thank you for your continued support and participation in de Souza Institute educational activities. Now in our 8th year, the Institute has offered a comprehensive roster of more than 30 evidence-based, clinically relevant continuing education courses to more than 6,000 front line health care professionals. We are committed to support your efforts, through professional development, in providing the best health care possible in oncology and hospice palliative care to patients and families.
