de Souza Institute is proud to announce that work has begun on the Online Education Palliative End of life Care Oncology (OEPECO) course. This course is based on the EPEC™-O Canada curriculum and is being developed by a team of interprofessional experts. We anticipate the course will be available starting in 2016/2017.
On Tuesday July 28th, de Souza Institute will be launching an updated eLearning Centre to better serve you! The major new features are:
Ever lost a forum post after spending several minutes typing it in? This new feature will auto-save drafts of forum posts and assignments, allowing you to start typing a forum post or assignment, navigate away or close the window by accident, and your draft will still be saved.
A new, simplified text editor, to make writing and editing your forum posts easier.
The Faculty of Nursing at the University of Windsor is very pleased to partner with de Souza Institute to offer the Graduate Diploma in Oncology/Palliative Care Program.
This past Oncology Nursing Day, Pat Cotman, a Registered Nurse from Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, was awarded with the de Souza Nurse Designation.
To earn this designation, Pat underwent a series of courses as well as successfully completed a clinical fellowship. The Globe and Mail filmed a video featuring Pat, as she goes about her day as a nurse with the specialized skills to care for cancer patients and families.

On Sunday March 29th, just before 10 am the hardware running the de Souza websites suffered a catastrophic failure. Due to this our websites have been down since. Our main websites are back up and everything should now be accessible.
If you run into any issues or problems, please let us know, we will continue working behind the scenes to make sure everything is working correctly for you.
