Celebrate our 2022 de Souza designates during the nursing week

The theme of the 2022 nursing week is #WeAnswerTheCall! As we celebrate nurses across Canada we want to highlight, recognize and congratulate two oncology nurses who earned their de Souza designations this week: Crystal Hall, of Grey Bruce Health Services, awarded a full de Souza Nurse designation; Candace Syrowitz of Jack Ady Cancer Centre and Kelly Haygarth of Bonnyville Community Cancer Clinic awarded a de Souza Nurse Associate designation; and Seyed Amirmasoud Nematollahi, of The Ottawa Hospital, awarded a de Souza Intern designation.

de Souza designates are nurses who possess strong clinical and leadership skills in oncology or palliative care. They have the up to date knowledge to deliver complex treatments, alleviate symptoms related to cancer and address psychosocial needs of patients and families.

We would like to congratulate our de Souza designates and give a special thanks to all of the organizations that supported these extraordinary nurses.
