Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) – Outpatient Cancer Clinic, Southlake Regional Health Centre (July 16) Successful completion of the RPN Oncology Graduate Certificate or equivalent such as the De Souza Cancer Care Basics or De Souza Patient Navigation Course required; or willingness to complete within 1 year of hire. Fundamentals of Hospice Palliative Care preferred.
Registered Nurse – Oncology (LMH), Wellington Health Care Alliance (July 13) Completion of de Souza PSCB or ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course mandatory, Completion of de Souza Foundations in Oncology Nursing Practice preferred. Must have experience with medical day care procedures including but not limited to paracentesis, thoracentesis, bone marrow biopsy, and lumbar puncture.
Registered Nurse – Complex Malignant Hematology (Oncology), Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (July 11) de Souza Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy or ONS certification strongly preferred. Must be willing to maintain this certification and recertify if required. Medical oncology/hematology experience preferred.
Registered Nurse (Oncology), Michael Garron Hospital (July 6) Completion of de Souza Institute’s Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certificate program, or the ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certificate required. Must have 2-3 years recent experience in Oncology and Cancer Therapy (Chemotherapy/Biotherapy).
