  • Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) Chemotherapy Suite – Grand River Hospital (March 18th) The RPN coordinates care for outpatient oncology and chemotherapy suite patients requiring assessment and supportive treatment in an outpatient environment. Collaborates closely with physicians and other disciplines. Oncology experience mandatory.
  • Registered Nurse-ICP Ambulatory Clinics, Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (March 8th) Must have de Souza Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Certification course. Must have recent knowledge in Oncology Nursing with experience in the care of complex patient populations, including, but not limited to: care of immunosuppressed patients
  • Registered Nurse – 0A Oncology, Trillium Health Partners (March 8th) Preference will be given to those candidates with recent de Souza Foundations in Oncology course and de Souza or Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemotherapy and biotherapy certification. Expectation will be to commence de Souza or ONS courses within 6 months of hire, if not previously completed. Being certified to administer chemotherapy and biotherapy is required.
  • Registered Nurse Patient Educator, Niagara Health System (March 5th) Must have completed de Souza Foundations in Oncology Nursing Practice course and have current Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course. Must have completed or enrolled in de Souza patient teaching and education course or completion of an Adult Education certificate.
  • Registered Nurse (Oncology), Michael Garron Hospital (February 16th) Completion of de Souza Institute’s Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certificate program, or ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certificate required. Must have 2-3 years recent experience in Oncology and Cancer Therapy (Chemotherapy/Biotherapy).
  • Registered Nurse (Oncology), Michael Garron Hospital (February 16th) Completion of de Souza Institute’s Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certificate program, or ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certificate required. Must have 2-3 years recent experience in Oncology and Cancer Therapy (Chemotherapy/Biotherapy).
  • Kidd 9 Oncology Nursing (Inpatient), Kingston General Hospital Site (January 9th) Certification in chemotherapy/de Souza preferred, completion within 6 months required – annual recertification required. Oncology Nursing experience an asset.
