Registered Nurse, Central Alberta Cancer Centre (January 22) Must have successful completion of de Souza OPREP Foundations Part 1 or equivalent. Must have Clinical Proficiency (minimum 5 years) with recent experience in adult critical care, emergency, and/or ambulatory oncology.
Registered Nurse- Systemic Therapy, Lennox and Addington County General Hospital (January 21) Education requirements include: Provincial standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course with annual competency certification, and de Souza Nurse Designation.
Manager of Clinical Practice, Bayshore HealthCare (January 20) Must have at least five years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a community setting. Additional training and certification such as CNA certifications, Learning Essentials for Advanced Palliative Care (LEAP), deSouza and other specialty training would be an asset to this role.
Registered Nurse, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (January 11) Palliative Care pain and symptom management experience required. Fundamentals in palliative care and Comprehensive advance palliative care education or LEAP or de Souza Hospice palliative care courses preferred.
Registered Nurse – Oncology Clinic, Scarborough Health Network (December 20) Must have Completion of de Souza Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification at time of hire/transfer or successful completion within 6 months and completion of the deSouza Foundations in Oncology Nursing Practice or successful completion within 1 year of joining the department. Current experience in Oncology or Palliative coupled with experience in administration of chemotherapy and biotherapy preferred.
