Preference will be given to those candidates with recent Oncology certification, de Souza chemotherapy and biotherapy and foundations in oncology courses and Palliative Care certification.
Registered Nurse, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (January 8) Must have ability to deliver care to complex oncology patient population (end of life, palliative care, M.A.I.D.) de Souza Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy or ONS certification strongly preferred. Must be willing to maintain this certification and recertify if required.
Registered Nurse, Lakeridge Health (January 8) Significant recent experience in Palliative Care Nursing (i.e. on an inpatient palliative care unit, Ambulatory Clinic or Community Nursing within the past 3-5 years) is required. Completion/In Progress of de Souza Institute Patient Navigation Course (mandatory). Completion of de Souza Institute Fundamentals in Oncology course or equivalent required.
Shift Nurse RN, Bayshore HealthCare (January 7) Experience with palliative, pediatrics, diabetes management, trach/vent care is an asset. Additional certifications (e.g., CNA, LEAP, de Souza) are assets.
Registered Nurse, Headwaters Health Care Centre (December 27) Must have 2-3 years recent experience in Ambulatory Care setting including Oncology and administration of systemic therapy (Chemotherapy/Biotherapy). Must have de Souza Institute Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy Certification or ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certificate or equivalent.
