Registered Nurse, Alberta Health Services (December 10) Must have a minimum of two years of experience in Hematology/Oncology experience in the past four years and a minimum of one year of experience caring for patients pre or post Cellular Therapy in the past two years.
Registered Nurse, Mount Sinai Hospital (December 9) Must have current chemotherapy administration certification via the de Souza Institute or ONS. Recent experience in ambulatory care with clinical trial experience is preferred.
Shift Nurse (RPN), Bayshore HealthCare (December 8) Experience with pediatrics, diabetes management, g tubes, and trach/vent care is an asset. Additional certifications (e.g., CNA, LEAP, de Souza) are assets.
Registered Nurse, Credit Valley Hospital (December 4) Previous experience in Medical/Oncology/Haematology/Palliative and V.A.D. and chemotherapy administration is preferred. Preference will be given to those candidates with recent de Souza Foundations in Oncology course and de Souza or ONS chemotherapy and biotherapy certification. Expectation will be to commence de Souza or ONS courses within 6 months of hire, if not previously completed.
Registered Nurse, Headwaters Health Care Centre (October 21) Must have 2-3 years recent experience in Ambulatory Care setting including Oncology and administration of systemic therapy (Chemotherapy/Biotherapy). Must have de Souza Institute Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy Certification or ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certificate or equivalent.
Registered Nurse, Brightshores Health System (September 16) Must have Medical Oncology and Palliative Care nursing experience within the last 2 years. Must have completion of Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Course with de Souza Institute or accredited equivalent or willingness to obtain within 1 year.
Registered Nurse Cancer Care FTT, North York General Hospital (September 9) Adult physical assessment course req., Oncology certificate/Chemotherapy & Biotherapy certification required, Min. 1-year Oncology/Chemotherapy experience preferred, Min. 2 years Intravenous experience (adult), preferred & Experience working in ambulatory oncology clinic.
