• Registered Nurse, Michael Garron Hospital (September 21) Must have 2-3 years recent experience in Oncology and Cancer Therapy. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a primary nurse in an ambulatory clinic environment preferred. Must have either completion of de Souza Institute’s Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certificate program, or the ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certificate.
• Manager of Clinical Practice, Bayshore Healthcare (September 11) Must have a minimum 5 years of progressive leadership or supervisory nursing experience (community setting preferred). Specialty nursing certifications (e.g., CNA, LEAP, de Souza) are an asset.
• Registered Nurse, North Wellington Health Care (September 10) Completion of de Souza Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course or ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course mandatory. Completion of de Souza Foundations in Oncology Nursing Practice preferred.
• Registered Nurse – Transitional Graduate Nurse, Alberta Health Services (July 29) Previous clinical experience in Cancer Care, acute care, including Emergency or ICU practicums, is an asset. Enrollment in or completion of oncology‑related coursework or an oncology-based education certificate (e.g. OPREP, de Souza etc.) program is an asset.
• Registered Nurse, Kingston Health Sciences Centre (June 9) 2 Years Oncology nursing experience preferred. Recent experience in stem cell transplant preferred. Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course (PSCB) or de Souza Certification required.
• Registered Practical Nurse, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (May 22) Fundamentals in palliative care and Comprehensive advance palliative care education or LEAP or de Souza Hospice palliative care courses preferred. Palliative Care pain and symptom management experience and Hospice Palliative Care experience required.
