  • Nurse Practitioner – Inpatient Cancer Care, Southlake Regional Health Centre (May 9) Must have recent (within the last 12 months) certification in chemotherapy administration required, demonstration of annual recertification from a recognized institution (de Souza Institute/Oncology Nurses Society). Additional specialty education in Oncology preferred i.e. de Souza Hematology Courses.
  • Registered Nurse, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (May 8) de Souza Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy or ONS certification strongly preferred. Must be willing to maintain this certification and recertify if required. Medical and radiation oncology experience an asset.
  • Registered Nurse, The Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority (May 8) Long Distance Oncology Course – Foundations in Oncology through de Souza, Ontario or equivalent required or completion within 12 months of employment. Recent related up to 2 years experience in emergency, medicine, or surgery nursing is required.
  • Registered Nurse, St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital (May 7) de Souza Provincial Standard Chemotherapy & Biotherapy certified Oncology Nurse preferred or Chemotherapy Certified with agreement to maintain certification as required. Minimum of one year of experience in the last three years’ working as the primary nurse in an oncology clinic with demonstrated competence in cancer symptom management and nursing management of oncological emergencies.
  • Registered Nurse, Wellington Health Care Alliance (May 6) Completion of de Souza Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course or ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course mandatory. Completion of de Souza Foundations in Oncology Nursing Practice preferred.
  • Registered Nurse, Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (May 5) Recent clinical experience (minimum 2 years) in Critical Care, Emergency, Chemotherapy and/or Medicine preferred. de Souza Oncology certification preferred.
