Preference will be given to applicants who have de Souza Complex Malignant Hematology Course.
Registered Nurse, Trillium Health Partners (March 31) Must have knowledge of the philosophy and concepts of Oncology and Palliative Nursing practice. Preference will be given to those candidates with recent Oncology certification, de Souza chemotherapy and biotherapy and foundations in oncology courses and Palliative Care certification.
Registered Nurse, Alberta Health Services (March 30) Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology experience in the past 4 years and a minimum of one year of experience caring for patients pre or post Cellular Therapy in the past 2 years. Specialization certification – CONc, de Souza, etc. is preferred.
Registered Nurse – Odette Cancer Centre (OCC), Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (March 30) Experience in oncology nursing required; minimum of five (5) years related practical experience. Certified Oncology Nurse CON(C) or Oncology Nursing Society (OCN) certification required or willing to obtain, de Souza chemotherapy/biotherapy course required or willing to obtain and maintain.
Registered Nurse, North Bay Regional Health Centre (March 27) Recent broad Ambulatory Care experience required (within the last 3 years) including Surgical Ambulatory Clinics, Chemotherapy, Endoscopy, Cystoscopy. Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course from de Souza Institute required.
Registered Practical Nurse, Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (March 26) de Souza Cancer Care Basics and Patient Navigation courses are an asset; requirement to obtain within 2 years of hire. Current progressive nursing experience in outpatient oncology clinics, required.
