Pain can be a debilitating symptom and is often a patient’s top concern. Learn the pathophysiology of cancer pain, cancer pain syndromes, pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions for intractable pain in palliation and how to conduct educational and advocacy work.
This course is designed to help health care professionals understand the impact of grief and loss on their practice. Professionals will learn how to recognize and assess situations, engage in meaningful and appropriate communication and learn coping mechanisms.
