The original eMentorship Program was launched for advanced practice nurses (APNs) by the Ontario Oncology APN Community of Practice, Cancer Care Ontario, and the School of Nursing at McMaster University. The program received funding from the Ministry of Health in Ontario from 2008 to 2012, to expand support for generalist, specialized and advanced practice nurses with an interest in oncology and hospice palliative care practice. The eMentorship Program concluded successfully in April 2013. As the project partner, de Souza Institute continues to host the resources online and make them available to clinicians across cancer care trajectory.
