A New Health Promotion Seminar Series
It’s All about Synergies: Optimizing Role Clarity within the Nursing Intra-professional Team
The Health Promotion Seminar Series is a collaborative effort between the de Souza Institute, the Community Health Nurses Initiatives Group (CHNIG) and the Community Health Nurses of Canada (CHNC). The seminars offer an opportunity for professional development to nurses working in all domains of practice; community or acute care.
As a health care professional today, it is vital to act in accordance with the latest technological advancements and resources to be better equipped in providing patient care. Advanced knowledge and applied experience helps you remain relevant and confident in the care you provide. de Souza Institute anticipates this growing need, and we are committed to promoting the best possible cancer and palliative care through accessible, innovative educational tools.
Donalda MacDonald, a specialized oncology nurse educator at the de Souza Institute, is the recipient of the 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Canadian Association of Nurses in Oncology.
